FounderBuilt uses information to operate accounts, publish listings, deliver requested emails, and understand how the directory is used.

Account and submission data

We process the account details and listing information you provide, including email, founder details, website links, and uploaded media. Public listing fields are displayed on the website. Email addresses used for account access are not intended as public listing fields.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication uses session storage or cookies as required by the sign-in flow. Saved tools are stored locally in your browser, not synced to an account. We also store whether you dismissed our privacy notice. Clearing site storage removes saved tools and may sign you out.

Analytics

The website loads Plausible and Vercel Analytics to measure usage and page views without analytics cookies. These providers process request information to produce usage reports. This is separate from the tool leaderboard. Dismissing the notice is not an analytics opt-out.

Popularity rankings

When a tool profile stays visible for two seconds or you use a Visit button on the production site, we derive daily keyed hashes from request network information and the browser user agent to filter repeated profile views, clicks and obvious automated requests. The ranking ledger does not store raw IP addresses or raw user agents. Deduplication records are removed daily once older than the previous UTC day; aggregate daily tool counts are retained. Hosting providers may separately retain request logs.

Click totals measure eligible requests to visit a website, not verified people or completed visits. Read the ranking methodology.

Service providers and external sites

Hosting and analytics use Vercel and Plausible; account and listing data use Supabase. Editorial content uses Sanity, and configured transactional email delivery uses Resend. Sign-in providers and websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices. Embedded media may connect to its provider when loaded.

Your information

You can remove saved tools in this browser and clear site storage. For questions about account information, corrections, or deletion, contact enricohernandez@gmail.com. Public content and backups may have different retention requirements from an active account.
