Cloudflare open sources Cloudflare OS, an agent platform for the whole company

Cloudflare has open sourced Cloudflare OS, a platform that gives every employee an AI agent and workspace built around how their company actually operates. Announced on the Cloudflare blog, the platform is designed to let everyone in an organization, not just engineers, build apps, automate work, and safely reach internal systems. It gives every person an agent and workspace built around how the company works, what it knows, and the systems it relies on.

Cloudflare has been running the platform internally since May, with thousands of people across every function using it daily to create documents and slides, automate repeatable tasks, and build small apps to visualize data. The version open sourced today is a rebuild on a new foundation, with security embedded in the platform rather than left to each app or agent. After people began sharing workspaces, apps, and outputs, the team found that access to an MCP server only showed which tools an agent could call, not which underlying resources it had observed. The rebuild fixes that, so collaboration cannot expose information.

Any organization can now deploy Cloudflare OS, connect it to internal systems, and make it their own: customize interfaces, add skills and context that capture how the company works. Every conversation is grounded in that curated knowledge. For an infrastructure giant, it is a notable bet that the operating system for work should be open source software any business can run and shape.
