Andrew Ng, the renowned AI pioneer and co-founder of Coursera, has unveiled LearnVector -- a new AI company backed by a \$100 million investment from Coursera. The company aims to revolutionize education by building true one-to-one learning experiences powered by artificial intelligence that adapt to each individual.

Unlike conventional AI chatbots that simply provide answers, LearnVector is designed to be a patient, adaptive learning companion that stays with you until you have mastered new skills. The platform plans learning paths tailored to each individual, adapting to how they learn and providing trustworthy guidance rather than just quick answers.

Ng's venture addresses a fundamental limitation of traditional education: the economics of teaching. While one-on-one tutoring has always been more effective than classroom instruction, it has been too expensive to scale. LearnVector aims to change this by using AI to deliver personalized instruction at scale, with products expected to launch by early 2027.
